Hi, my name is Fiona David. The reason that I love yoga for BJ is because it basically gives me more freedom to be creative in my jiu-jitsu. So if I know that I have more range of motion, better mobility, it gives me more freedom to try new things without being concerned about getting injured or pushing myself too much. It also just helps prevent injury.
Really I can't roll unless I get a good amount of stretching in or some mobility work. I train too long to not do anything before I go into rolling. So yeah, that's just a few of the reasons that I love yoga for BJ.
